Internet Based Art

Nearly all curated projects belong to the spectrum of “Internert based art”, because all of them are located in the Internet and represent a specific form of media art using the Internet as a tool for artistic creations.

In this way, his work is mainly virtual, this is underlined by the fact that Agricola de Cologne is considering his individual kind of curating as his specific art expression, after he had lost his affinity to the material after his coma 1998/1999 – which means consequently that the physical aspect of art changed its meaning profoundly. The retrospective gives evidence of a step further ahead in the understanding of a “contemporary” kind of art.
