A Virtual Memorial Foundationfounded in 1999 by Agricola de Cologne, the artistic project platform dedicated to "Memory" and "identity" is the mother of all networking ideas since its online launch on 1 January 2000 http://a-virtual-memorial.org As an International Center for Commemorative Interventions, AVM is hosting "The 7 Memorial For Humanity" including commmorative media art projects (2001-2020)- JavaMuseum - Forum for Internet Technology in Contemporary Artfounded in 2000 as the 1st virtual museum for virtual art by Agricola de Cologne, director and chief curator, has its focus directed on "Internet based art", also called "netart", which had its high time between 1998 and 2010. The museum realized between 2000 and 2010 numerous shows online including more than 500 netartists and curators. The museum is currently under conceptual reconstruction. http://javamuseum.org
